How to Read a Supplement Label

Read the Form, Not Just the Name

Two bottles can both say magnesium and deliver very different results. The form determines how much your body actually absorbs. Magnesium oxide, for example, contains a high percentage of elemental magnesium by weight but is poorly absorbed, while magnesium glycinate is better tolerated.

Check the Dose, Not Just the Blend

A proprietary blend lists a total weight without breaking down individual ingredients. If a label shows a blend total but no per-ingredient amount, you cannot tell whether the formula delivers a meaningful dose. We list every amount individually.

Look for Standardisation

Botanical extracts should state the standardisation, for example standardised to 5 percent withanolides. Without it, one batch can differ substantially from the next.
